Angelica's Bistro

Quietly nestled in the back of one of the area's most impressive antique emporiums, Angelica's Bistro feels like it has been around since the 18th century. However, it is the latest endeavor by entrepreneurs Peter and Angelica Cuschieri. Visitors may sit in the cozy alcoves and listen to live romantic music as they enjoy their meal, lean on the large counter and order unique micro-brew beer, or sit in the garden among dozens of gorgeous fountains and sculptures. While the surroundings are a delight, Angleica's Bistro is first and foremost about quality food and drink.

	The Main Gallery Established in 2000, The Main Gallery has quickly become one of the Bay Area's bright spots for fresh, innovative, and exciting local art. Located in a charming historic Victorian cottage, it is an artists’ cooperative with some twenty-two members, showcasing the work of local talent. Its rigorous jurying process ensures high artistic standards, and a wide range of media are always on display. 	Fox Theatre Built in 1928 as a vaudeville and movie house, the renovated Fox Theatre is the ideal venue for concerts, movies, receptions, product launches, meetings, private and corporate parties, and many other events. Three floors of event space with a combined capacity of over 1,400 are available, separately or in combination. In 1993, the Fox Theatre was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
	Peninsula Jewish Community Center The Cultural and Performing Arts Department of the Peninsula Jewish Community Center offers high-quality, multi-disciplinary arts programming and cultural opportunities. Among its features are the 50,000 square foot Byer Athletic Center, the Koret Learning Center, its award-winning preschool, its seasonal day camps, and more. Moderately priced performances, lectures, art exhibits and workshops, featuring emerging and established artists and thinkers, strive to entertain, educate and enlighten.
	Filoli A property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Filoli is a wondrous 654-acre estate thirty miles south of San Francisco. Magnificient gardens are seemingly untouched by the passage of time. A grand Georgian mansion sits amongst these gardens where hundreds of rare flowers, plants and trees flourish. Visitors wander through the estate on the brick paths that invite them to explore the grace and beauty of Filoli. Admission includes self-guided tours, guided tours and nature hikes. 	San Mateo County History Museum Housed in the magnificent Old County Courthouse, the San Mateo County History Museum preserves the rich history of the county and makes it accessible to the public. It offers educational activities for school children, as well as a wide range of events concerning the history of the county – from tours of historic sites to lectures, discussions and family programs.
