    09/10/11- 04/01/12	Peninsula Landmarks - Exhibition San Mateo County History Museum Peninsula Landmarks - Exhibition Presented by San Mateo County History Museum at San Mateo County History Museum September 10, 2011-April 1, 2012 Peninsula Landmarks features four murals by Lois White that highlight historic buildings, parks and businesses of historic significance to San Mateo County.
    03/20/10- 03/01/12	Gardeners of Identity... Basques in San Mateo County - Exhibition San Mateo County History Museum Gardeners of Identity... Basques in San Mateo County - Exhibition Presented by San Mateo County History Museum at San Mateo County History Museum March 20, 2010-March 1, 2012 Of the 58,000 Basques living in the United States today, the largest population resides in California. This exhibit explores the Basque culture, how it came to San Mateo County and its many unique traditions that have become an important part of the local community.
    09/12/09- Ongoing	Horsing Around in San Mateo County - Exhibition San Mateo County History Museum Horsing Around in San Mateo County - Exhibition Presented by San Mateo County History Museum at San Mateo County History Museum September 12, 2009 - Ongoing Horses have had an enormous impact on the development of San Mateo County from the early 1800s, when vaqueros worked with horses on ranchos to modern day horse racing at Bay Meadows. The exhibit features twenty miniature saddles by local artist Reg Buyle and will be shown at the lower rotunda and hallways.

    Playing Grown-Up... Toys from the Harry P. Costa Collection - Exhibition San Mateo County History Museum Playing Grown-Up... Toys from the Harry P. Costa Collection - Exhibition Presented by San Mateo County History Museum at San Mateo County History Museum February 14-December 31, 2012 The San Mateo County History Museum presents this unique exhibit, while explores those toys from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s that allowed children to mimic the activities of adults. Objects highlighted will include an antique pedal car fire truck and airplane, Tonka work trucks, a fully electric 1929 Lionel Stove & Oven, a G-men Fingerprint Set, a “Miss Friday” mechanical doll and a working Lionel train, just to name a few.
