Melinda L. Harper
Choreographer - Dancer
About the artist: Melinda Harper has danced professionally with the Spokane Ballet Company in Washington State and Festival Ballet Company, performing and choreographing for Dance Theater of Idaho. She is also a certified instructor/member of USA Gymnastics as well as locally performing musical theater in the Bay Area.
Professional Middle Eastern dancer (Belly Dance), specializing in Double Veil as well as Finger Cymbals, Single Veil and Candle Balance (Najla).
Melinda has been teaching children for 10 years and is the owner of GYMKIDS USA teaching children's gymnastics, dance (ballet, tap, and jazz), a cheerleading coach and performer throughout the greater Bay Area.
Melinda won cheerleading awards from Eastern Washington University, including 1st place trophy in the All Around Category, Dance and Cheer and Stunt. She has also been in professional summer training with the Seattle Seahawks Cheerleaders, "The Sea Gals".
Melinda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in dance from Washington State University (1995).

Magique Bazaar (Magic Show at Gaslighter as "Najla" performing Middle Eastern Dance and Magician's assistant with "Majinga the Magician".
