    Adena DeMonte

    Actor - Director - Singer - Visual Artist - Writer

    About the artist: Adena DeMonte is a director, actor, critic, visual artist and writer residing in San Mateo, Calif. Originally from New Jersey, Adena spent four years in Chicago obtaining her B.F.A. in theatre studies from The Theatre School of DePaul University. When she's not doing any of the above, she's likely at work writing about technology news.

    Adena directed the critically acclaimed production of Godspell at Crystal Springs Players in 2007. She can be seen next as Andra West in Cry Havoc at Pacifica Spindrift Players (June 1 - June 24) and Stagelight Productions' Hair as Jeanie (July 14 - August 19).

    Favorite roles from the past include Ursula Merkle in Bye Bye Birdie, Dolly Levi in Hello Dolly, Toostie/Ensemble in Grand Hotel, Princess Veronica in My Favorite Year, and "The Woman Who Loved to Make Vagina's Happy" in The Vagina Monologues.
