    About the artist: Joanne Hobbs Lauck, M.S. is a published, award-winning author of The Voice of the Infinite in the Small and an exhibiting photographer whose photos have appeared in a variety of publications including on the cover of Kindred Spirit, Dream Network Journal, and Talking Leaves. She is also the founder of Catalyst for Youth, a public charity and educational 501 (c) 3 California corporation (www.catalystforyouth.org) and Heart of Chaos, an artisan collective for emerging artists (www.heartofchaos.net). She currently teaches graphic design and computer graphics at Brooks College of Sunnyvale and San Jose’s Pathfinders Alternative High School and when she is not mentoring teenagers and young adults, she is working on a book about her teaching experiences.
