Ernestine Balisi
Actor - Choreographer - Dancer - Singer
About the artist: Ernestine Balisi, 22, is best known in her work with Nickelodeon in which she has performed in the live shows in Nickelodeon Central at California's Great America in Santa Clara, CA, the Nickelodeon Suites Resort (formally Nickelodeon Family Suites) in Orlando, FL and most recently in Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. Her favorite performance so far has brought her coast to coast with Royal Caribbean International on the Nickelodeon Family Cruise in which she shared the stage with Tom Kenny (well known for the voice of SpongeBob Squarepants), as well as the other main stage productions on board the beautiful Mariner of the Seas (Mexican Riviera) and Freedom of the Seas (Eastern Caribbean).
Past stage credits include the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie (Peninsula Youth Theatre; Tony Award- Best Actress & Female Triple Threat), Yvette in Miss Saigon (1st non AEA-Children's Musical Theatre of San Jose), Jan in Grease, Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (both with Independence High School; nominated for Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress by AMTSJ HONORS program), Cinderella in Into the Woods Milpitas Rainbow Theater), Ziegfeld's Favorite in The Will Rogers Follies (Saratoga Drama Group), Nehebka in Aida, Ricky in A Chorus Line(both with Bus Barn Stage Company) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (American Musical Theatre of San Jose; Mini Ginny Award for Best Female Actress).
Ernestine is currently performing the role of Crystal in Bus Barn Stage Company's production of Little Shop of Horrors. (www.busbarn.org)
