Poet - Writer
About the artist: Laura Oliver was born and raised in Cupertino. Her upbringing in a union family, and the early landscape of the Santa Clara Valley permeates her work. Laura earned her MFA in Poetics and Writing from New College of California. Her poems are published in:
The Burnside Review, Slipstream, Prosodia, League for Innovation Literary Competition, Bottomfish and Writing for Our Lives. She teaches poetry as an artist in residence in elementary schools, residential treatment facilities, and to at risk youth in East Palo Alto.
