Actor - Director - Filmmaker - Singer - Visual Artist - Writer
About the artist: SUMMER REEVES, a native of Southern California, made her acting debut at the age of two working in commercials, and she has been doing it ever since. Although primarily a stage actor, her vocal talents have been utilized as a narrator for several documentaries including “The Environment and You”, she can be seen in many independent films including: “Charmed and Dangerous”, and “Wonderland Express”, and most recently in a commercial for Corbin Motorcycles currently airing on ESPN Speed Zone.
Her varied stage credits include: Constanze in “Amadeus”, Shelby in “Steel Magnolias”, Mollie Ralston in “The Mousetrap”, Elmire in “Tartuffe”, Aldonza in “Man of La Mancha”, Elizabeth Bennet in “Pride and Prejudice”, Grace Farrell in “Annie”, Diana in “Lend Me a Tenor” Helena in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” Hero in “Much Ado About Nothing” and most recently playing Chicago’s hottest dancer Molly Metz in “The Chicago Caper” (a new first) an improvised dinner theatre event.
In addition to her work on stage, she can often be seen working behind the scenes as a Director, Producer, Playwright, Designer, and Dialect Coach (specializing in Standard British, Cockney, Scottish and Irish dialects). In addition to her work in theatre, Summer is an award-winning writer and artist; she is currently working on a series of semi-biographical of comic essays.
