John Aney
Actor - Director
About the artist: John T. Aney hails originally from Portland, Oregon. A graduate of Lewis and Clark College, John was a founding member of Portland's Tygre's Heart Shakespeare Company. John also holds a Master's Degree in Theatre History and Dramatic Literature from Indiana University.
A Silicon Valley resident for the last 7 years, John has performed on a number of stages in the area. Favorite roles include Harry in Cloud 9 (Dragon Productions), Bernard in Arcadia (Bus Barn Stage Company), Charles Guiteau in Assassins (City Lights Theatre Company), Mitch in Streetcar Named Desire (Bus Barn), Gooper in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Calaveras Repertory), and Gabe in Dinner with Friends (Bus Barn).
John also holds a certification in Acting and Directing from the Moscow Art Theatre Stanislavsky Summer School, and is a specialist in Russian theatre, particularly Chekhov.
