    Marc Hufnagl

    Choreographer - Dancer

    About the artist: Marc Hufnagl is a twenty-year veteran modern dance choreographer. Over the past two decades he has choreographed more than 30 works.

    A native of Chicago and former Nebraska resident, Hufnagl is the only choreographer in that state to ever receive three artist fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts through the Nebraska Arts Council.

    Choreographic works and commissions include: House of Three Hearts and Streetwise (Mimicus Mime and Dance Co.); O'Keeffe: Flower Study (Dalienne Majors and Dancers); The Meursault Chairs, Songs for Sirens, and Nordhausen (Marc Hufnagl and Dancers); Dialogues, A Murder of Crows, Four Passages, and A Romantic Vernacular (Dance Theater of Omaha); Pastiche (The Moving Company - Univ of Nebraska); Seven Panels; Seven Minutes (for Joslyn Art Museum); and Puja (Marc Hufnagl/The Motion Project at Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts).

    Marc Hufnagl is currently a teacher of Literature and Choreography at The Harker School - San Jose, CA. His independent modern dance company "Marc Hufnagl / The Motion Project" is presently seeking male and female modern dancers with ballet training.
