Karie Bennett
Actor - Singer
About the artist: Karie Zarsky Bennett's first official performance was at age 6, singing at a crowded North Carolina barn dance. Since then, she has disco danced on an Orange Bowl float, studied vocal performance at Foothill College, performed with the Foothill Fanfairs under Phil Mattson, and also been a member of the Schola Cantorum. Highlights include sharing a stage with Bobby McFerrin, Tony Bennett, and Take 6.
She was bitten by the musical theatre bug in 1988, and has appeared in productions of Fiddler on the Roof and Wizard of Oz at SCP, Fiddler at SDG, and was also a proud ensemble member of Foothill Music Theatre's acclaimed production of Show Boat. More recently, she was a featured singer in the Bus Barn Follies for 5 years.
Other talents include voice-overs, accents, varied laugh effects, kickboxing, and special makeup skills. She owns and operates Atelier, an Aveda Lifestyle Salon Spa at Santana Row in San Jose, Ca.
