Polly Moller
Musician - Poet
About the artist: She names Robert Dick, the Edge, Stewart Copeland, the Sisters of Mercy, Kate Bush, and others as her influences but these streams of inspiration don't really help to describe Polly Moller.
A San Francisco Bay Area native, she's been variously admired as a beat poet, urban assault flutist, and experimental rock songwriter.
Grounded in the belief that "the personal is mythical", Polly allowed her path through music to merge with her path through life. An explorer of the world's many myths and the mysticisms, she contrasts the ancient world with the modern world through songwriting, integrating the words and inspiration of the past with the music of the 21st century.
