    About the artist:

    Born in San Mateo, California and having grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Barbara has watched her environment change. Thriving with diversity and transformation she has welcomed this movement. Barbara believes in the respect and importance of the environment, of cultures and of the past. This has lead her on a journey to create her hand-made Jewelry Masterpieces that embody this philosophy.


    Barbara Cianos is one of the first truly Sustainable Jewelry Artists. She combines antique, vintage and unusual components into her necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Her exquisite and natural stones, antique ivory, lovely antique Venetian and Art Glass and crystals all enhance each piece of BabaBlue Jewelry. Sterling silver, 18kt and 14kt gold, copper and brass are the metals she employs in her pieces. Barbara is very selective and her One-of-a-Kind Masterpieces display her sophisticated and elegant creativity in bringing the past into the present as wearable art.
