Ticket Sales & Guidelines
Discover the Discounts! Half-Price Tickets (aka eSavers)
Each week, our Discover the Discounts weekly email links to a page of half-price ticket offers for upcoming events.
- This service is free! You are only responsible for covering your customers' credit card transaction fees. (For each credit card transaction, a 3.25% bank fee is assessed.) These fees are simply subtracted from your payout checks.
- Submission deadline: Tuesday by noon for that week's issue.
- We require that you allocate a minimum of 10 tickets (or 10% of your house, whichever is less) for each performance/event date.
- Checks based on ticket sales are cut every two weeks.
- In the event of a cancelled event, a credit can be issued to the patron, free of charge, to use for any tickets LiveSV is selling, or a refund may be issued. In the event a refund is issued, a $2.25 per order fee will be the responsibility of the arts group.
- Consumer purchase information is available upon request.

FULL-PRICE TICKETING
Our innovative ticketing system, launched in 2011, was designed with the needs of arts, sports and civic groups in mind. Along with supporting our eSavers half-price tickets program (see below), it offers solutions for all types of ticketing. Some highlights:
- This service is free to organizations! There are no set-up charges or hidden fees. Organizations using this program are only responsible for credit card transaction fees, which are simply subtracted from your payout checks. (Note: A 3.25% bank fee is assessed for each credit card transaction).
- The web-based system provides 24/7 access, and there is no software to download
- Your ticket buyers will see your organization’s name at the top of your ticketing page
- Will-Call lists and other online tools are accessible via secure, password-protected log-ins
- Phone and online support are provided for ticket patrons and organizations
- Checks based on ticket sales are cut and mailed every two weeks
A wide variety of ticketing options (some, not offered by other online ticketing agencies), include:
- Full-price, half-price, and discounted tickets
- Subscriptions
- Early bird specials
- Group discounts
- Multi-day passes
Features enable organizations to:
- Compile their own ticket sales data for financial reporting purposes
- Retain and grow a customer database by tracking email addresses of patrons
- Send promotional emails to customer email distribution lists using an easy-to-use template (similar to Constant Contact)
- Conduct day-of-event (“walk-up”) transactions from your Box Office
Optional features, available for an extra fee, include:
- Rentable scanners
- Printed tickets
- Event ticketing staff
- Custom graphics and/or color choices for your ticketing webpages
LiveSV adds a per-ticket convenience fee (paid for by the patron) to the discounted price. The fee is based on the original face value of the ticket (i.e. full price). Examples:
- Face value of $15 or less = $2 fee
- Face value of $15.01-$24.99 = $3 fee
- Face value of $25-$34.99 = $3.50 fee
- Face value of $35 or more = $4 fee
