Bach Dancing and Dynamite Society
The Bach Dancing and Dynamite Society is a nonprofit organization for the musical arts, and its events are open to the public. Since 1966, it has presented live jazz, classical, and world music in an intimate setting at the Douglas Beach House at Miramar Beach in Half Moon Bay. There is a warm ambience and communal feeling to the House and Concert Room, a room that brings the musicians and audience together in a special way. Though the Beach House is not a bar or restaurant operation, it features a light buffet and has a wine and beer bar. Patrons may also bring their own picnics if they confine their eating to the outer decks (weather permitting).
