Grab your dancing shoes and get ready to twirl away your weekend twilight hours. Boogie Woogie Ballroom is a weekly social dance for ballroom dancers at any skill level. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, it hosts a social dance with a different drop-in lesson each week, as well as a light snack buffet. Singles and couples are welcome.

American Rhythm Group Series Class

A new American Rhythm group series class is starting Monday, February 6 from 8pm-9pm, taught by Eldon Bryce. American Rhythm Ballroom dancing consists of Latin American dances and Swing. Movements are compact and expressive.

Like the name suggests, emphasis will be placed on developing rhythmic body movements through hip motion and body isolation. In each class, learn a core foundation step and an exciting variation! In February, we are working on Cha Cha.

American Smooth Group Series Classes

Ylva Wintzell is teaching American Smooth Ballroom Dance at Boogie Woogie Ballroom on Mondays from 7pm-8pm. American Smooth Ballroom dancing features elaborate and creative turns, side-by-side partner work.

Each class will feature a core foundation step & an exciting variation. If you have at least 6 months of social dance experience, you are eligible for this class. Waltz is our first 4-week series, then it's on to Tango.

Valentine's Dance Party

Swingin' Country Variety Dance

Heide D is hosting Swingin' Country Variety Dance. She will be teaching a Mexican Wind Lesson from 5pm-6pm and a Country Two Step Lesson (Beginner +) from 6pm-7pm followed by two hours of dancing. Our Music Mix is: Country Two Step, West Coast Swing, Night Club Two Step, East Coast Swing, Cha Cha, Waltz, Hustle, Line Dances, and more.

New Years Eve Gala - Dance Lesson and Party

A fabulous way to ring in the New Year! Salsa drop-in dance lesson will start off our Gala Dance from 8-9pm. Professional Dance Performance Showcase, non-alcoholic toast at midnight, prize drawings, party favors, catered hors d'oeuvres and desserts, and waffles, tea and coffee available at midnight. Dance until 1am.

Hustle Dance Party

Boogie Woogie Ballroom is offering a monthly Country & West Coast Swing Dance Party! In December classes will be taught by Chris & Becky Haynam who combined are 13-time World Champions! 5-6pm is Polka, 6-7pm is Intermediate Country 2 Step followed by a dance party where you will dance to a mix of Country 2 Step, West Coast Swing, Night Club 2 Step, Cha Cha, Hustle & Waltz from 7-9pm!

Guys and Dolls Same Sex Dance Party

Citabria Phillips will be teaching at Boogie Woogie Ballroom's monthly Same Sex Dance Party! Citabria is ranked 5th in the World in same sex dancing and she is also the co-founder of San Francisco's famous "Dancing With The Queers."

Two 30-minute Beginning dance lessons start off the evening followed by a three-hour dance party. This month's lessons are Night Club Two Step and Cha Cha. This is an LGBTQI dance open to all genders and persuasions. No partner is needed.
