    Peninsula Cantare is an adult, auditioned chorus dedicated to presenting high quality choral performances of classical repertoire to its listening audience. In music from the Renaissance to the Twentieth century, Peninsula Cantare's mission is to sing interesting and varied music with the purpose of keeping alive the great tradition of choral masterpieces, and to explore newly composed works.

    Peninsula Cantare is an adult, auditioned chorus dedicated to presenting high quality choral performances of classical repertoire to its listening audience. In music from the Renaissance to the Twentieth century, Peninsula Cantare's mission is to sing interesting and varied music with the purpose of keeping alive the great tradition of choral masterpieces, and to explore newly composed works.

    Cantare gives three concerts each season, performing in churches throughout the Mid-Peninsula, and often participates in festivals. In 2008, the choir participated in the Fourth Annual Stanford Invitational Choral Festival. The choir was founded in 1971 as the Peninsula Master Chorale at Cañada College by Carl Sitton. In January 2007, Peninsula Cantare returned to Cañada College after a period as an independent nonprofit organization. The group has toured Europe and Australia and toured Brazil in the summer of 2007.
