    Lynn Ruth Miller started doing comedy on stage when she was seventy-one years old, and has launched a new career coupling stand up comedy with cabaret singing and storytelling.     Lynn Ruth Miller started doing comedy on stage when she was seventy-one years old, and has launched a new career coupling stand up comedy with cabaret singing and storytelling. Miller hit the headlines in Edinburgh at the 2005 International Fringe Festival for jumping out of a cake (almost) and removing her clothes (not quite). She left them laughing when she sat on their laps in 2006 and in 2007, she was dubbed the new Joan Rivers of Fringe Comedy. Now she is seventy-four, and she swears she hasn’t gotten the last laugh yet. She has certainly taken the Bay Area by surprise if not by storm and has become the symbol of achievement to all who know her. "If I can make my  dreams come true, anyone can," says Lynn Ruth Miller.

    Producer Lynn Ruth Miller brings her favorite comedians to Pacifica to make you laugh till you cry. She is joined by Pacifica's own Jim Giovanni, a one man tour de force of comedy, songs and impersonations. Will Franken, celebrated as one of the most innovative performers in the Bay Area and Nancy Lee, a single woman who has found romance is unexpected places. Hosted by Tony Sparks.
