Oscar Wilde's satire of Victorian society. The play follows two men, Algernon Moncrieff and Jack Worthing, who use aliases and invented friends to escape their social obligations. The mess that results from their self-serving designs finally teaches them the "importance of being earnest". Directed by NDNU Department of Theatre and Dance chair, Michael B. Elkins.
