Crystal Springs Uplands School in Hillsborough present their production of Sugar, a musical version of the comedy Some Like It Hot. Crystal Springs Uplands School in Hillsborough present their production of Sugar, a musical version of the comedy Some Like It Hot. The year is 1929 and two musicians, Joe and Jerry, witness a shooting. In an effort to escape being "rubbed out" themselves, they masquerade as women and join a women’s band traveling to Miami. Both take a shine to Sugar, the lead singer. The tap dancing gangsters Tear Up the Town in search of their prey. This is an old-style Broadway musical with lots of laughs.
