Winner of 3 Tony Awards, this is one of the smartest, funniest, most family friendly and accessible-to-all musicals in 20 years. Urinetown is set in a near future where water is so scarce its every use is tightly controlled by an evil Corporation and everyone must sign in at Public Restrooms and pay a fee to take care of their business. But when the CEO’s daughter falls in love with a boy from the Poor, revolution, abduction and hilarious songs and situations ensue! Spoofing Fiddler, West Side Story, and other Broadway classics, it is social justice wrapped in “fall-off-your-seat“ funny.
