    This year's Chickens’ Ball presents One World as its 70th Anniversary Production in the spirit of the 1915 World's Faire and in celebration of the cultural diversity of the City of San Carlos' community. In 1939, Howard Demeke (a San Carlos teacher) had an idea... to bring members of the community together and to raise a little "milk money" for children at the school. So he rallied the community and put together a friendly "skit" competition. 70 years later, The Chicken' Ball is the oldest PTA fundraiser in the country and one of the longest continuously running shows of all time!

    In April of 2010, the City of San Carlos will celebrate its 36th biennial production by presenting One World. Once again pulling out all the stops to transform the Central School Theatre into a world of wonder, excitement and delight. So dust off your boas and top hats and join us at the Ball. The Chickens’ Ball Steering Committee is presenting a Gala evening on April 24th to commemorate the 70th year of the San Carlos Chickens’ Ball. Dinner/drinks and the show for only $70!
