    Tom Duarte plays all styles of music including rock, blues, jazz, classical, Latin styles (Spanish, Brazilian, Flamenco), and country. His preferences are funk/jazz on the electric side, and most anything in the Latin spectrum on the nylon-string, particularly Brazilian and Flamenco music. “All of those styles groove and syncopate, which is what I like," says Tom.

    Tom has toured with Merl Saunders, keyboardist with Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead. He has also worked with Jerry Garcia Band/Elvin Bishop keyboardist Melvin Seals, Tower of Power vocalist Lenny Williams, and bluegrass entertainer Peter Rowan.
