    Fusing folk, jazz, pop and classical styles, Laurence Juber creates a multifaceted performance that belies the use of only one instrument. Juber is a master of acoustic finger style, but with less of the trick-guitar mishmash that seems obligatory among the high-octane pickers. He has a fluid style that shifts gears through simultaneous jazzy chording, leads, and bass lines, while weaving in and out of musical thoughts faster than a Formula One racer.

    After spending three years as lead guitarist with Paul McCartney and Wings, Laurence Juber embarked on a career as a solo artist, composer and arranger, and soon developed a reputation as a world-class guitar virtuoso, being voted #1 by Fingerstyle Guitar magazine. He has released 13 critically acclaimed solo albums, including LJ Plays the Beatles, Guitarist and One Wing. His latest solo CD, Pop Goes Guitar, includes the arrangement of Stand By Me that is heard nationally in the De Beers Diamonds Are Forever commercial.
