The California Youth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Leo Eylar, is proud to kick-off the 2009-2010 Season with works by Gershwin, Rachmaninov, and Beethoven, featuring the talents of soloist Alex Chien, winner of our 2009 Young Artist Competition. The program is as follows: Gershwin's Cuban Overture, Rachmaninov's Symphonic Dances and Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1.
