Peninsula Cantare is an adult, auditioned chorus dedicated to presenting high quality choral performances of classical repertoire to its listening audience. In music from the Renaissance to the Twentieth century, Peninsula Cantare's mission is to sing interesting and varied music with the purpose of keeping alive the great tradition of choral masterpieces, and to explore newly composed works.

For their Holiday Concert, Starry Night, Peninsula Cantare sings music of Dan Forrest's Three Nocturnes, Hugo Alfven's Aftonen (Evening), Brahms' O Schöne Nacht and Abendlied, Tallis' O Nata Lux, Rutter's Star Carol, Poulenc's Videntes stellam, Mendelssohn's There Shall a Star Come Out of Jacob, and other starry gems.
