The Borealis String Quartet has created a sensation across Canada with its dynamic performances, passionate style and refined musical interpretations. Featured frequently on CBC Radio, the Borealis has performed to critical acclaim and sold-out concert halls in every province. Quartet-in-Residence at the University of British Columbia's School of Music, the Quartet performs on four historic instruments made between 1698 and 1788 thanks to a sponsorship from Taiwan's Chimei Culture Foundation.

Program includes: Respighi, Quartetto Dorico, Op. 144; Kelly-Marie Murphy, Ashes; Beethoven, String Quartet in e minor, Op. 59, No. 2, “Razumovsky”
