At Filoli, horses were a passion for the Roth family. For artists, horses have been their subject since the first humans drew on cave walls. Great masters such as Rubens, Reynolds and Van Dyck immortalized them. Experience the grace, beauty, spirit and fire of horses through a collection of original paintings and drawings by local artists. Discover Filoli’s rich equine history through a display of photographs and mementos.
