    Take Flight for Kids - Helicopter Aviators

    Take Flight programs are half-day adventures into the world of aviation for elementary-aged students in Grades 1-5. Sessions are scheduled on select weekend and holiday dates throughout the year and include the following: hands-on construction of flying model aircraft, exclusive behind-the-scenes cockpit explorations in museum aircraft, and a special flight simulation experience in the Flight Sim Zone.

    Helicopter Aviators - Launch a mission into the world of vertical flight! Climb aboard a Museum helicopter and test out the unique controls that keep these remarkable machines airborne. Build and fly a rubber-powered helicopter, and launch it to the Museum's ceiling, then take to the flight simulators for a challenging mission in Vertical Flight.
