    The Tribal Blues Band is a nine-piece, power blues and funk machine featuring a four-piece horn section. Their live performance exudes excitement and energy and is a must-see experience. The cutting edge vocals, sizzling guitar work, fat horn riffs, solid bottom end, grooving rhythms, driving keys blend to form a cohesive unit of electrifying Blues, Funk, Jazz and Rock n’ Roll.

    Performers include Raya Zion on Vocals, Dave Christian on Guitar, Marty “Fuzzy” Izenson on Sax, Sam Herzberg on Drums and backup vocals, Danny J. on Bass, Michael Lee on keys and backup vocals, Eric Bloch on Trombone, Jesse Mathews on Trumpet and Flute, and Patrick Collins on Trumpet and Flugelhorn.

    This band’s musicians bring with them mastership of their instruments that, when combined, forms a whole greater than the sum of the individual parts; a cohesion that plays easy on the ear and is a thrill to experience live. Their repertoire runs the gamut of the Blues, Funk, Rock n' Roll and Jazz and ranges from exciting and driving to searing and sublime. There is something here to satisfy every music aficionado.
