Maestro Curtis & The Jazz Hieroglyphics - Dinner Music Show

This event will be hosted by KCSM Jazz 91.1's own Clifford Brown Jr., and featuring Juan Escovedo of the E Family. Timothy Alexander White of KBLX went on to describe Maestro and the Jazz Hieroglyphics, "Not in a long time have there been jazz artists more true to jazz idioms than Maestro and the Jazz Hieroglyphics. Maestro founded a fraternity for jazz musicians, which is not just a network of dedicated musicians but a family, called the Jazz Hieroglyphics, and created a powerful soundtrack titled Positive Minds which he wrote, arranged, and produced. Positive Minds made its way through the music industry grapevine and fell upon the ears of Maurice White, the creator and mastermind of Earth, Wind, & Fire, who sought after Maestro to sign a recording deal under his own, Kalimba Records. The Jazz Hieroglyphics will soon be releasing their 20th Anniversary album and a Holiday album.
