    The songs of Lucy Billings have been described as refreshingly honest, authentic and captivating, and her voice, pure and lovely. She inspires and touches her audiences with elegant melodies and incisive lyrics that are as one reviewer said, “both poetic and “real”. Her songs come from life experiences and showcase Lucy’s knack for using songwriting to make the stories come alive.

    In 2011, Lucy released her second CD, No Other Road, produced by John Jennings (Mary Chapin Carpenter). Since the CD’s release, this singer/songwriter has been garnering rave reviews around the world for her lovely blend of acoustic folk and country music. Paul Riley of Country Music People (UK) gave the CD a 5 star rating and wrote, “I just don’t want Lucy Billings to stop singing. I just can’t find anything wrong with this superb disc…. the songs, vocals, backing tracks, production and sound mix are all near to perfection”. She was a featured artist for the Alternate Root magazine and her animated music video of My Caballo was added to the lineup for Season 2 of Alternate Root TV, syndicated in over 60 markets. The CD placed in the top 100 on the Americana radio chart and #1 on the Roots Music Report: Folk/Internet.
