Scott Hamilton, one of the most soulful, straight-ahead jazz saxophonists, makes a rare Bay Area appearance with Larry Vuckovich's , hard swinging East Coast rhythm team to perform just recorded music in the classic Blue Note style of hard bop, including music of Sonny Clark, Horace Silver, Dexter Gordon, Tadd Dameron, and Thelonious Monk.
