    David Prescott is proud to present a special night of Latin Jazz with two of the top performance groups in Northern California; Mestizo and JazzSabor.

    Mestizo is an eleven piece band originating from San Francisco playing the retro 1970’s Bay Area sound of the Latin Rock music of: Malo, El Chicano, War, Sapo, Azteca, Santana and some Salsa. Incorporating both a Male and Female vocalist, Mestizo is able to not only capture the full range of sound with a 3 piece brass section, and full percussion ensemble, but the feel of the music of that time.

    JazzSabor was born from a collaboration of artists expressing their musical abilities in the field of Latin Jazz. Although Latin Jazz has been around for decades on the east coast, it had made a comeback in the L.A. area, and this genre is being acknowledged in the San Francico bay area as well. A group of seasoned artists from the bay area who have shared the stage with many main stream celebrity artists are summed up in this group covering these artists work as well as their own unique innovative originals.
