    Wally Schnalle's latest musical vehicle, Idiot Fish, combines a myriad of influences from his love of jazz and fusion to trends and sounds that emanate from the electronic dance music world. Genres like Jungle, Glitch, Dub-Step and IDM all have a hand in influencing his newest compositions that fuel this new ensemble. Wally's usual acoustic drum set is augmented by a host of electronic devices that allow him to embellish his usual percussive voice with electronic elements. Yet you still hear the sound of his acoustic drums, a vital element. But even more ground breaking is the fact that he also plays much of the harmonic content of these compositions from the drum set as well. Therefore he only needs only sax and bass on stage with him to complete the sound of this cutting edge trio. From Bach with a pipe organ to Miles' first use of electronic keyboards musicians have always looked to the latest technology to create new sound. Idiot Fish is at the cutting edge intersection of electronica and improvised music.

    Blend vibrant jazz fusion, ECM harmonies, and soulful melodies and you get Joe De Rose and Amici. Joe De Rose, a native of the Bay Area, has been playing drums professionally for 21 years in various styles ranging from Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, Latin, Blues, Rock to Fusion. He is an alumni of the Alum Rock Jazz Band and has also graduated from The Prestigious Berklee College of music. Joe has toured Europe, Japan, and and the states with various artists such as Toni Lynn Washington, Kofy Brown, Yoshiko Oda, and The Hristo Vitchev Quartet.
