    The San Francisco Chronicle called the Pizzarelli family “the First Family of Cool,” and The New Yorker magazine called them “the von Trapps on Martinis.” In 2009, senior member Bucky Pizzarelli dazzled our Filoli audience. Now, his son John Pizzarelli will do the same. John is a world–renowned guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, bandleader, and performer. His latest release, Rockin’ In Rhythm, showcases John’s incredible interpretation of the enduring work of Duke Ellington. For Filoli, New York City–based John will bring his highly talented rhythm trio of players, including John’s brother Martin Pizzarelli playing bass. What better way to end our season than by having John Pizzarelli knock one out of the park.
