In March of 1940, ten-year-old Phyllis Mattson left Vienna, joining a transport of children seeking refuge in America. Two weeks later, she began her new life in San Francisco. Her family was scattered on three continents, but linked by letters and the love that sustained hopes of a reunion. Hear Phyllis speak about her fascinating life.
