La Clave is a fascinating musical documentary about the similarities between two types of music genres known today as Salsa and Reggaeton. A unique gathering of the hottest stars of reggaeton as well as the old school greats of salsa. Interviews with salsa icons such as Willie Colón, Ruben Blades, Ismael Mirando, and on the reggaeton side billboard chart-topping artists such as Julio Voltio, Tego Calderon and Héctor El Father just to name a few. These artists all came together to discuss how two different styles of music can have so much in common and how their music is all composed under “La Clave”.

La Clave is the five-note two bar rhythm pattern which generates rhythmic measurement and is the foundation and backbone of Salsa and all Afro-Cuban based music. An extraordinary journey back in time to the African root that influences all of these different types of music with its rhythm of “drums and percussion”.

La Nuera de Don Filemón/Don Filemon’s Daughter–in-Law - Don Filemón will have to get used to living with Remigia, his daugher-in –law who can’t stand him, until she discovers something about Don Filemón that makes her love him like her own father.
