Her vocals are fervent; her piano, patient. She is nobody's baby, fool, or single genre to peg. Still, seduced by the music of Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone and Stephen Sondheim, Lisa alludes to folk, jazz, and musical theatre in her compositions.
