    Hillbarn Theatre, announced an exciting new partnership with Life Ka Funda Productions who will present Love Is in the Air. This Bollywood-style melodrama with a unique mixture of comedy, tragedy, romance and grand song-and-dance numbers woven into the script brings actors and actresses from across the Bay Area to Foster City's Hillbarn Theatre, an historic venue renowned for its strong sense of community and nearly seventy years of continued theatrical success.  This is the first joint partnership between Life Ka Funda and Hillbarn Theatre that helps to fulfill Hillbarn's mission of theatre with and for the community.

    Love Is in the Air centers on Love Bappa, the god of love, and his mission to bring true love to the inhabitants of two neighboring boarding schools, one filled with curious yet sheltered teenage boys, and the other with equally inquisitive and shielded adolescent girls. The real challenge for Love Bappa and his angels, however, is Shankar Narayan, headmaster of the boys' school, whose obsession with discipline and tradition has blinded him from seeing the value of having love, music, and passion in one's life.
