In anticipation of Israel Independence Day on April 20, Faces of Israel: A Discussion About Marriage, State and Religion in the Jewish Homeland poses a series of questions about hot topics in Israel. These include Jewish Identity, what it means to be a Jewish and democratic state, the role of the Israeli Chief Rabbinate, and the place for the various religious movements within Israel. The film will be followed by a discussion led by Rabbi Tamar Malino.
