Ed Grant, Coastal Arts League member and Mavericks photographer, has assembled the most spectacular images from the cutting-edge photojournalists who risk life and limb to document the wave's intense man-against-the-sea drama and obsessive lifestyle of Maverick's elite riders. Both the shooters and the surfers who challenge the break on its most extreme days will make a rare one-time public appearance.
