 itors will experience the unique flavor of San Mateo through local and int
 ernational art that will be featured in businesses on B Street\, from Firs
 t through Fourth Avenues. All businesses on B Street will stay open until 
 8 pm to keep the vitality of the street alive and friendly. The Streets of
  San Mateo are just one of the exciting adventures for families to enjoy i
 n today's Downtown that is setting the standards for tomorrow's urban envi
 ronments.\nThe Downtown San Mateo Association's Third Thursdays\, is desig
 ned to bring together an eclectic group of businesses and cultures. Artwor
 k will be for sale that evening with proceeds going directly to the artist
 s. The event will conclude with an artists' reception at a Downtown busine
 ss.\nSubsequent events will be thematic and feature various art genres inc
 luding photography\, fashion\, sculture and urban art. Parking is availabl
 e in public garages and on-street and is free after 6 pm. Come take a stro
